Key Art & Title Treatment for SBS (The Special Broadcasting Service) Ramadan & Eid 2026 Campaign.
This project marks the first bespoke creative for SBS Australia’s Ramadan and Eid campaign, featuring a series of digital banners and social video end boards.
Collaborating with cultural consultants and stakeholders, we prioritised accurate and diverse representation throughout the design process. The centerpiece of the artwork is a vibrant collage of traditional mats and rugs, symbolising the communal nature of shared meals. Drawing inspiration from Southeast Asia, Africa, the Middle East, South Asia, and West Asia, woven mats and Persian and Moroccan rugs were incorporated to celebrate the global diversity of Muslim communities.
The artwork also highlights foods traditionally used to break the fast, such as dates, along with dishes influenced by various cultural traditions. Through the window in the background, the phases of the moon are subtly integrated, referencing the lunar cycle that defines the month of Ramadan.
Insights about the project were shared in an interview with SBS Indonesia, where the creative process and cultural significance behind the campaign were discussed.
